**SOB** I miss it so much! It has been over a week since I have had one and I can probably recant every second. I can totally do this though! Also, I have given up white carbs, can you believe it?? Not only me, but my whole family. No more soft fluffy white bread... the bread actually has like grains, nuts and seeds in it. Everyone here is mad, lol.
I have been trying more smoothies. The one I did today was as follows...
-1/2 cup cottage cheese
-1/2 cup canned pumpkin
-about 6 cubes of ice
-1/4 cup water (I am out of coconut milk)
-1/4 cup dry oatmeal
-1 tablespoon ground flax seed
-3 Splenda packets
-a dash of pumpkin pie spice.
I blended that bad boy up and it sort of tasted like pumpkin cheesecake. I will be repeating tomorrow morning, as it kept me full and made me feel really good! I accomplished breakfast for myself before 1:00pm!
I am going to try and force myself to pass out tonight at a decent time. Actually, right after blogging! I wanted to do a bath tonight, but I think I am going to try and head straight to bed. First I have to whip up this recipe for metabolism water I found off of Pinterest.
Big jug filled with water (I think its supposed to be filtered, but Rome wasn't built in a day)
1 apple, sliced up.
1 Cinnamon stick.
Refrigerate.
That's it and you are supposed to be able to refill the jug 2-4 times. Its worth a try. Anything to flavor the water... I really struggle with the taste of it. It doesn't matter how much I drink, it just NEVER tastes anything like Soda!
I am going to end this with a little quote from my new friend Katie. She is another gal on board with helping me achieve my 2013 goal....
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TRY. You either ARE or you are NOT. You are either "getting fit" or you "are not" You are either sleeping, or you are not. TRYING to sleep means,you still aren't sleeping. The effort doesn't matter if you still need sleep, so this helps when a person is thinking of being a big procrastinator or CHEATER or whatever!!!
